Get started with PrynBot
Invite the bot, check permissions and configure your first server.
Before you start
You need permission to manage the Discord server you want to configure. PrynBot’s dashboard lists the servers your Discord account can manage. Premium belongs to its subscriber, with coverage across eligible servers they manage.
Invite and connect
- Choose Add to Discord and select your server in Discord’s authorisation screen.
- Review the requested permissions. Keep PrynBot’s role above any roles it needs to manage.
- Open the dashboard and sign in with the same Discord account.
- Select your server, enable the modules you want, and save each section.
Inviting PrynBot does not make every module active. Server managers choose the configuration.
Set up support
For ModMail, run /setup with your support role. PrynBot creates its private support category and archive. Then use /panel to publish a member-facing support panel.
For channel tickets, configure the ticket category, private transcript channel and support roles in the dashboard, then use /ticket-panel.
Make a test ticket
Use a regular member account or ask a trusted member to test the flow. Confirm that only the ticket owner and authorised support staff can view the ticket, that staff replies arrive, and that a closed conversation has an accessible private transcript.
Where to go next
Read Tickets & ModMail, Permissions, or AI Support. If anything looks wrong, ask in the support server.
