Publish consistent messages to the right channel.
Choose a destination
Configure a channel where PrynBot can send messages. Read-only member access is useful for official announcements, but the bot still needs its own sending permissions.
Publish or schedule
Use the dashboard or /announce to send a message now or schedule it for later using supported timing controls. Review the content and destination before saving.
Keep mentions deliberate
Do not rely on arbitrary pasted mention text to bypass mention handling. Use only authorised notification roles and review Discord permissions before expecting a notification to reach a large audience.
Check scheduled state
The dashboard lists scheduled announcements and supports cancellation of pending or failed items. A schedule is not evidence of delivery; check the channel and recorded state when the time arrives.
Container information panels
The existing announcement command is a message/scheduling tool. The PrynBot community’s dedicated getting-started and information Containers are published by separate one-time helpers. A normal pasted message does not become a Components V2 Container automatically.
