Dashboard troubleshooting
Resolve common sign-in, access and configuration problems.
Start with the visible error
Record the message, page and time without copying secrets. Refresh the dashboard after an update and confirm the release footer. A stale browser asset can show an older screen even when the bot files have been updated.
Sign-in and server selection
Use the Discord account that manages the intended server. An installed bot and a management permission are separate requirements. Reconnect if your server access changed; Premium does not grant management permission by itself.
Saving configuration
If another tab changed the settings, reload before saving again. A fresh session and CSRF token protect changes. Do not bypass these checks or paste session cookies into a support conversation.
Public page versus dashboard
The public website is separate from the Pi-hosted dashboard. A working public website does not prove the bot host or secure tunnel is reachable. Report the exact affected URL and error; avoid randomly changing Caddy, ports or Tailscale settings that are already working.
What to send support
Include steps to reproduce the problem, expected behaviour, actual behaviour and a redacted screenshot. Never include .env contents, tokens, OAuth client secrets, Stripe keys, API proxy secrets or browser session values.
